Interactive Light Installation — 2025
Eyes on the Metronome
On request
Together with painter Jan Gemrot, we created an interactive work of art where viewers can use sensors to control the color and blinking of the eyes directly on the large-format painting.
We present a technological-artistic project that was created as a special interactive installation for the Metronome Prague festival. It is based on a large reproduction of Jan Gemrot's painting entitled "Who am I when all my faces are just masks?". This classic work of art is brought to life through modern technology - the canvas is connected to electronics and a system of sensitive sensors. With the help of artificial intelligence, a special program was created, thanks to which the audience can actively interact with the painting. The visitor thus goes from being a mere observer to becoming a co-creator of the work, who can change the color of the eyes in the painting in real time and control the speed of their blinking.
