About Me and My Work
I create objects that connect function, art, and technology. Lighting, light sculptures, and installations. Furniture and architecture. Electronics and software. I love to play around and combine all sorts of things.
An idea often starts as just an incomprehensible scribble. Then I iterate on and on. If the idea survives, and I do too, it ends up as an object – a finished piece. I work with LEDs, lasers, electronics, concrete, acrylic, 3D printing, glass, metal, wood, water, air... simply anything that fits the concept.
I love discovering new things, materials, techniques, and ways of seeing. Whether it's the behavior of light in various materials or utilizing a motion sensor for a new light fixture. I don’t just design these objects; I usually build them myself.
Technology as a Partner
I enjoy bridging traditional craftsmanship with the latest technological trends, which is why I routinely use artificial intelligence in my work. It helps me not only with efficient software development for my projects, but also serves as a partner for brainstorming, finding new inspiration, and critically validating my concepts before I dive into physical production.
I view this website as an open laboratory where, alongside finished pieces, you will find works-in-progress and raw concepts. Most of my objects are not meant to be definitive, off-the-shelf products. Instead, they serve as living examples of ideas and technological directions that continue to evolve, often finding their final shape and character only during the actual implementation and customization for a specific space.
I have a studio and a house with a garden in Brandýs nad Labem. If you are interested in collaborating, feel free to reach out.
